It was with great delight that I attended last night's Greener Britain Hustings, taking time to hear, ahead of the upcoming UK General Election, what many of the parties plan for the environment.

The debate, chaired by Tom Heap, of BBC One's Countryfile and Radio 4's Costing the Earth asked panelists: Rt Hon Elizabeth Truss MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Conservatives, Rt Hon Ed Davey MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Liberal DemocratRt Hon Caroline Flint MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Labour and Caroline Lucas MP, The Green Party to set out their environmental ambitions.
