Passionate about developing leaders and making a difference in the world? Journeys for Change is looking for an entrepreneurial Executive Director to grow our work internationally

Journeys for Change takes leaders on transformational journeys to meet the world's most inspiring social entrepreneurs. Since launch, we’ve brought together more than 200 international leaders to give them the inspiration, tools and connections to create greater profit and impact in the world.

Past journeys have led to new corporate strategies, cross-sector partnerships, project funding and new career directions. Participants have included executives (from organizations as diverse as JP Morgan, Nike, Novo Nordisk and Habitat for Humanity), philanthropists, academics, entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs.

With a base in India, we’re now looking for an entrepreneurial Executive Director with the ambition, skills and value-set needed to grow our work internationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with the Board to set the strategy for the organization
• Expanding our programs in India and elsewhere in the world, meeting business development targets and achieving consistently high participant feedback
• Building and maintaining high-value partnerships
• Managing our staff team based in the UK and India

We’d love you to have the following skills and experience:

• Experience of successfully growing a profitable, high impact venture / social business
• Experience and knowledge of social entrepreneurship and leadership development
• Strong business development experience
• Experience of managing a diverse, distributed team

You are an individual who is:

• Passionate about social entrepreneurship, leadership development and learning exchanges
• A strong problem-solver and highly resourceful
• Well travelled, including in India
• Well connected in the corporate world, ideally across multiple countries
• Strongly aligned with our mission and values
• Confident in dealing with a wide range of senior-level decision makers across sectors
