What knowledge, skills and experience do you have that you would be happy for people to contact you over?
I am a professional journalist presently involved in civil society activities, particularly Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship for the past five years. I am the Managing Trustee of the Global Gandhian Trusteeship & Corporate Responsibility Foundation, a registered Trust. We bring out a monthly publication on CSR called CRBiz, temporarily suspend for want of funds, and organise workshops on CSR and Social Entrepreneurship. We have done five well attended workshops on CSR in different parts of the country. We are presently planning a workshop on Social Entrepreneurship in Noida/Delhi in the last week of May.
I have been a journalist for the past 44 years. Have worked with almost all important Indian publication. Was Editor of Kuensel, a monthly publication of the Royal Government of Bhutan. I been in the North East, including Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh, for well over 20 years.

What else would you like to say about yourself?
I very seriously believe that Corporates have a responsibility to stakeholders and communities. Gandhiji propounded the principles of Trusteeship which is today what Corporate Social Responsibility is all about. The Mahatma had asked businessmen to set aside a part of their excess wealth for the welfare of the people. As Prime Minister has said CSR is not charity it is the responsibility of Corporates towards the people. Being responsible is important for the survival of business.
