What else would you like to say about yourself?

I'm from the tropical country-the Philippines. As a youth leader and staunch social activist I'm delighted to join in this social organization because I do believe that this will serve as a global venue for the convergence of individuals from all walks of life who strives to make a difference. I considered myself as a maverick and I'm extremely a romanticist and idealist but in resolving the problems whether it be personal or societal I usually metamorphose into a pragmatist. As of to date I'm working as university Instructor, Freelance Journalist and the youngest accredited mediator of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, Ormoc City Chapter and serves as the Board Member of the Philippine National Red Cross Ormoc City Chapter. I was a former SK Chairman and twice undefeated as a Punong Barangay ( Village Chieftain). I'm also the founding chairman of AGYLA (Active Genuine Youth Leaders Association) AGYLA is a visayan term which means eagle but it is correctly spelled as aguila or agila.
AGYLA is a coalition of idealistic youth leaders who dares to make a difference in working for a brighter future. Its mission is to promote POSITIVE ACTIVISM, PATROISM and VOLUNTEERISM. It works in partnerships with various Peoples Organization and Non-Government Organization in implementing projects and advocacies for transformational development. The organization does not have standing fund on its own it only thrives in the spirit of volunteerism . AGYLA in partnerhsip with Department of Labor and Employment spearheaded the first and successful 2-days celebration of Working Youth Day. AGYLA is also supported by the World Vision for the lobbying of City Ordinance that would regulate the addiction of internet online games among the children and students and for the prohibition of pornography in public internet cafes.Most of its projects as of to date is supported and funded by the Pagtinabangay Foundation. AGYLA are also into various advocacies such as Peer Counsellings, Free Academic Tutorial, STI/HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program, Human Rights and Gender Sensitivity . It receives recognitions from NGO's and made it to the Visayas finalist for the National Youth Commission's search for the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations. But its greatest accomplishments are its leaders who are able to make CHANGE in making themselves a gift to the world and continues to strives to make the world a better place.
