I live in Madison, Wisconsin in the US. It isn't a huge city, but it is REALLY into local farming and has been known for being active in pursuing environmental issues. I took the Social Sustainability class last year from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
I have a teacher this year whose degree is in Rural Sociology--is that similar to your degree? I had never heard of the type of psychology you talk about, very interesting!
I've been seing "travel india" commercials over here lately, and it looks like fun in India :)

Hello ! Sorry for the delay in my reply. I am happy to note that you are looking for setting up a NGO and to address yourself to sustainable development in agriculture. I wish you all the best ! If you furnish your email id to me at umeshadapa@yahoo.com I will try to send some material as guidelines for setting up a NGO and we can discuss about agri projects for specific projects. Once again I wish you all the best in all your endeavours.
Iwill look forward to continued contact.
Umesh
