I am coordinator of the project ‘Global Corporate Volunteering – A Strategic Tool for Business and Development’, managed by CODESPA and ICEP in collaboration with IESE Business School and co-financed by the European Commission, aims at providing companies with practical know-how on how to set up and manage high impact volunteering programmes and how to align them with business objectives. Valuable experiences and lessons learnt from proven global corporate volunteering will be published in a Global Corporate Volunteering Casebook to provide support to companies in designing effective programmes. These case studies shall inspire business leaders worldwide to mobilize their companies’ specific know-how, resources and skills for social impact in development regions.

CODESPA is a non-profit organization based in Spain that works on International Cooperation since 1985. CODESPA has the aim to contribute to poverty alleviation through social and economic development. CODESPA gives opportunities to people for their own development and facilitates them the appropriate tools to achieve that: access to microfinance, professional training and commercialization support. During its 25 years of history has worked in 36 developing countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America. Its President of Honour is His Royal Highness the Prince Felipe de Borbón.
