GOAL

I am currently working on establishing a global consortium of ecologists, engineers, environmentalists, scientists, researchers, economists, business and financial people to address the problems created by the global use of fossil fuels and major sources of pollution and their impact on our eco systems. This will be a comprehensive analysis of methods, justifications, and the long and short term effects of those practices. This effort has two goals. The first is to determine whether we are decades away from reaching “the tipping point”, just years away or already there. The second goal is to present a clear model and pathway for implementing the appropriate changes. The model and pathway will be based on sound ecological, economic, engineering and business practices.

I am seeking scientific, engineering, economic, business and financial contributors that share my passion and belief that we are stewards of this planet and that our current methods of sustaining and growing our collective civilization is destroying the vessel on which we travel. Appropriate credit and acknowledgment will be given for all contributions. Also seeking high profile personalities that may have a pet cause that falls into the scope of our mission and would be willing to be a spokesperson for that change effort.

Fully agree with you, especially your point about formal meetings. The amount of meetings I've been in where nothing is actually accomplished is mind boggling, it's almost like they are sometimes more an opportunity to let egos shine for a few mom...
