I have a career in community development, economic development planning and sustainable development spanning approximately 17 years in public sector, consulting and the private sector. Approximately 10 years of these have been in management level (general, strategic planning, and or senior management) in both specialist and executive capacities, while the balance has been in junior and technical functions. The competencies and experience gained over the years include but not limited to business planning processes (research, policy and strategy development, corporate governance, planning, financial management and project / programme management as well as capacity building, cross-cutting competencies such as innovation, knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation, research and development and others.
