Development & Spiritual Advancement

Erle Argonza contends that spirituality and material advancement must be blended, mixed, integrated. Unwarranted or conspicuous consumption was the result of material development without regard for spiritual advancement. This had to be checkmated once and for all, before the planet will be embroiled in a New Dark Age. Instead of Darkness, we Gurus of Light are of the position that we can all move forward in a New Age of Light, where poverty will be eradicated as well as the structural condition of oligarchism that bred it.

THE WORLD HAS ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE'S NEED, BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE'S GREED - Mahatma Gandhi

Towards building that New Economy in a New Age of Light, carpe diem!

Good afternoon!

Large swaths of lands in Asia were recently flooded, which paints a gloomy landscape in China, India, and Pakistan. Flooding, however, doesn’t kill civilizations, and floodwaters should be viewed on the positive side as providing, after calamities, much needed water and energy source.

As history has shown, it is the sudden absence of water, via large-scale calamity, that had killed many civilizations in an… Continue

EURO-AMERICAN BANKRUPT COMPANIES ARE LEPERS, ASIANS BE WARY!

Erle Frayne D. Argonza

Leper Companies, Inc. could very well describe the so many huge corporate entities in the West that are now expectantly waiting for some investors to breath fresh life into them. The compass of that search points to Asia as the source of the badly needed ‘smart money’.

What a mess indeed had Western economies turned into, as their respective enterprises have been crashing to bankruptcy levels after liberal pol… Continue

Good day fellow global citizens!

It’s late afternoon here in the Philippines, daylight is still around though quite faded a bit. The time of the day seems to be delivering the message that there is still some light in the global economy, and that is a feel-good ambience.

Light there may be for the global economy, but that light no longer comes from the Western economies. Definitely no longer from the once… Continue

RURAL DEVELOPMENT SHOULD BE TOP PRIORITY WORLDWIDE

Good evening from the Philippines’ highland suburbs!

For this note I will focus on the thesis that rural development should be pursued by developing countries. The world’s nations have pursued growth that has been badly skewed towards urbanization and commercialization since after World War II, a total effort that has seen many people become poor as a result. Most of the poor folks are in rural hinterlands and fisherfol… Continue

Good evening from the Philippine suburbs!

I wish Europeans could find sufficient reason to brighten themselves up these days. Maybe the northern Europeans can still find some reason to smile in the light of welfare state graces still flowing to their pockets, while those of southern Europe’s are grilling in the heat of a continent burning in economic firestorm.

Europe is rapidly going down the route of bankruptcy a… Continue

Dear Erle,

Wish you a Very Happy New Year !!
I am grateful for your reflection on the subject and your points are considerable as well.Later to post the topic on here i found and discuss with some of my senior and they put their points on the same.
I would like to share with you their views common lending mistakes are something tht we generally do in the operation such as disbursement mistakes, documentation error (signature, loan form fill up etc.) etc. These are called as common lending method which can be blunder in the future for MFIs and should be considered at right time to minimize the risk.

Erie... I apologize for taking so long to respond to your gracious and open invitation. I wold like to engage in a dialog on the subject of grass roots activism and social and economic justice. I have traveled to your beautyful country blighted as it has been by US economic opportunism and a succession of less than honorable political figures.

If you go to our site: www.microventuresupport.org, you will see my partners travel experience visiting MFI's in Alongapo, Mindanou, and Manilla. We have very good friends there as well. more to come...

Erle, never can thank you enough. I have learnt a lot from you and i think others too, keep this good work of exposing idiocracies as it has no place anymore on earth. All it takes 4 evil 2 triumph is 4 good people 2 do nothing.
Keep doing good of putting things straight in their balance!
