I am sending you the link about HDFC's microfinance initiative IASC.

IASC ( Indian Association for Savings and Credit) is a Section 25 Company (non-profit) promoted by HDFC Ltd and PWDS. IASC was presented as a Case Study by HDFC Ltd in the Second International Global Compact Learning Forum Meeting in Berlin , 11-13 December 2002. References:

Welcome to DC.

Its nice to see from your profile that you have an interest in CSR.

I was the CEO of IASC an MFI promoted by HDFC as part of their CSR and was showcased in the UN Global Compact event of 2002. I am just mentioning this as it was one of the first cases of CSR on Global Compact to be chosen from India.

This is also an invitation to be a friend. I am sure you would learn and share a lot in the coming days through the network.

Uday...
