Dear David

I am Anthony from Guntur of Andhra Pradesh, India. It’s very nice to see you in Development crossing and interested to contact you. I am a social worker for an NGO The Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS) rendering services in Cyclone prone villages in Guntur district and also helping children by organizing Orphanage Home. Recently we have started one Child labor Prevention School in a big slum in Guntur City. There is very bad situation, no facilities about 12000 populations living there. If you see them you, definitely feel depression. No roads, no good houses, no food and no good cloths. All of them are living under below poverty line and attend to the daily wage works. They are very unhealthy and affects with various sickness and very weak. We admitted 50 children aged about 7 to 14 years of ages. They are very sad conditioned without any proper care, food or clothes. Our government is providing nominal maintenance of the staff members to educate them. And also providing them mid meal and Rs.100 as compensation for each child for a month for not going to works. Unfortunately these children are not regularly attending to the school and gain going back to the works. I am very sad to see these children and there is already about 300 children are identified as out of schools and engaged in works. I just requesting you if possible kindly help this school for boarding home facility for 3 years. So that children can stays in home and having good education, food, clothing and having good interest in education and after one year they can regularly go to the regularly school. We can eradicate 200 children in this slum with in a period of 3 years time. If you are unable to support our children, no problem, but kindly give me suggestions. And also request you to kindly accept me as your friend and send me some ideas and needful information. I can also send some of the photos of the children if you like. And also warmly invite you to visit our Children and stay few days with us for study the situation.

Have a Nice day
Anthony
