Your work sounds wonderful, Anil--India has so many opportunities to create sustainable businesses! I've often thought that bringing sustainability into the equation when a nation was on the rise, as India is now, would be so much of an inspiration for us all.

Anil, It is nice to interact through this forum. Yesterday only i got registered myself here and it seems like a warm homecoming. I would like to make a little correction, it is not EDI, Ahmedabad but IEDUp, Lucknow, though we belong to the same community. Thanks. At IED, my work includes fundraising, planning and management of assignments, team management, monitoring etc. Training, studies, evaluations are the intervention in which my expertise lies.

Plz do write back about you. Till then

Barmer , because of its oil exploartion sites has been the host of corporates like Cairn energy . Cairn energy specially is very active in pursuing CSR activities , they have many projects for safe drinking water and self help groups under their CSR activities and have initiated an enterprise centre too in the city, more details can be seen on their website or if anyone feels intrigued enough to see the 'other side of the picture' can visit and see the changes that has happened in the last couple of years in this drought prone and flood effected western part of rajasthan.
