Hello fellow microfinance groupies... I hope everyone is having a great new year. I woudl apprecaite if you could please help me network our new fundraiser on kickstarter to finance a sustainable eco-farm microfinance scheme in Meru, Kenya working with a group of single mothers. Yes, it really is being designed to be both sustainable and transparent. You can read more here: http://tinyurl.com/yep7gsa

Feel free to send me questions directly or post them online. I plan on updating it early next week with new pictures of the women's group.

micro finance is the only way to uplift our people from poverty, however some practitioners move out of the core objective and hit hard on those whom they ought to mold out of poverty. Is it justifiable?

Hello fellow entrepreneurs

Please come follow the Backpack Farm on http://twitter.com/backpackfarm - www.backpackfarm.org

The Backpack Farm represents a practical, sustainable and commercial development model all rolled into one. I regularly post on development, food security, women's issues, water and of course microfinance including reports, studies and funding that is becoming available through commercial or donor sources.

Look forward to seeing you online.

Thanks Rachel....the company is a MFI already operating in India, but we are trying to expand by getting some PE funding and other multilateral funding from international agencies for this venture. Can you send your templates, and I will go through for best fit. My e-mail is ibn90@hotmail.com.....Many thanks.

Imo... I have a ton of templates. Can you clarify your request. You want to function as an MFI? Your best bet is first to research what the requirements are for an MFI to function in your country because this will determine how you design your BP.

Hello there, does anyone have a Business Plan Template for a MFI? A template we could use to obtain funding from PE/VC Firms. If yes, please send template to "ibn90@hotmail.com". Many thanks

Hi... I am looking for help with microfinance assessment templates. I have a ton of documentation but was hoping some of you might have some simplified models for impromptu project evaluations. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. You can write me directly at rachelz@medeagrp.com

Has anyone heard of the good work performed by Assografé, a Swiss microcredit working in Africa? I recommend them. Their website is: http://www.assografe.ch

Hi Cindy; What a great job... I have been teaching online for ten years and discovered that online tutoring is as good as face to face teaching but I think students need a space to share ideas, discuss issues, etc. Mayte mayte.esponda@gmail.com
