Hi everyone, Well I just joined this group. I know this will be a dynamic group. I been a volunteer in Malawi for 2 years and see the difference between the Philippines and Malawi. Also only I just finished my 2 1/2 years of volunteer work in in eastern part of Indonesia where I worked as capacity builder for a community based natural resources management. I am campaigning in fighting poverty and possible way of mitigating climate change. Right now I am back in the Philippines working for the development on carabao dairy at grassroot level. The problem of the philippines is political leadership. The country is potentially very rich in resources but has so many poor people.

Hi everyone! I wanted to take advantage of some of the groups I have joined on this network. The group "A better Philippines" not only touches me personally but also strikes my interest. I was actually born in the Philippines, but I have not been back since 1994 I believe. Even though I was so young at the time I remember vaguely how life was there. I am interested to know what kind of developments have taken place, and I'm sure there has been quite a lot!

Good day! I've begun crafting materials intended to reform public policy at the national level. In case you're interested in the emerging 'new nationalism' as development perspective, pls see my articles posted in my blog. I've also recommended 'social capital' reform for the mining sector (it seems sleeping in govt desks). Will look forward to enjoyable exchanges with you Andrew and partners.
