- Potential for poverty alleviation;

- Potential for replication;
- Demonstration of prior results (where available)

If I read this correctly you are seeking projects or enterprises that looking for funding for their efforts in Haiti. If you are not familiar with Haiti Partners, take a look. http://www.haitipartners.org/the-blog/

When I look at your crieria and Haiti Partners vision and plan, looks to me like you guys would make great partners.

Haiti Partners have been established in Haiti for years. They already have three of their partner schools up and running, providing kids education and the teachers pay. Here is their vision and purpose for Haiti.

•Faithful Churches and Stronger Institutions
•Democratic and Economic Growth for the Nation
Purpose
To help Haitians change Haiti through education for

•Teachers

Currently, I am not associated with Haiti partners at all. They are just an organization I am watching after the effects of the earthquake. It is exciting to me to see what they are already doing in Haiti.

Laura, I tried to register but as my email being a .coop domain email was rejected.
I have written on Dilip Ratha's blog at World Bank on how Social Purchasing could help Haiti at this time and on an ongoing basis. I believe there is a great opportunity to leverage Remittances (initially) among their Diaspora for benefit of local Community Development. I would love to find some way to help the Haiti people in their hour of great need.
