Good corporate citizenship is the product of good management across the organization; management that reflects the purpose, identity and values of the business and accounts for the potential impacts of the business - positive and negative - on its many stakeholders. Put another way, good corporate citizenship is the responsibility of every corporate executive, manager and employee. It is not the responsibility of a specific corporate function, and certainly not the responsibility of a specific individual, for example a CEO or corporate responsibility officer.
